ABOUT THE TEXAS LEGISLATIVE PROGRESSIVE CAUCUS

The Texas Legislative Progressive Caucus (TLPC) is working to lower the cost of living for all working Texans, regardless of race, heritage, or creed. As elected members of the Texas House of Representatives and the Texas Senate, we introduce and advocate for forward-thinking legislation that puts working families first in the Texas Legislature. TLPC provides resources and support to its members and partners with grassroots communities across Texas.

The Texas Legislative Progressive Caucus was established during the 87th Legislative Session in 2021, originally named the Texas House Progressive Caucus. TLPC became bicameral in 2023, welcoming members from the Texas Senate.
